About the DJF
The Dunedin Jazz Foundation (DJF) is a Charitable Trust whose purpose is to support the development, performance and appreciation of jazz at all levels of society, ranging from the provision of music education in schools to the staging of professional jazz concerts. Prominent initiatives supported by the DJC include:

Staging an annual competition for High School Big Bands and Combos (the Dunedin Youth Jazz Festival)

Running a jazz Big Band for young adults under the age of 25 (the Dunedin Youth Jazz Orchestra)

Curating monthly concerts for touring artists and local professionals at Hanover Hall (Dunedin Jazz Club)

Curating monthly gigs for local musicians at the Dish Cafe (Dunedin Jazz Club "Pop-Up")
